Lucozade Sport had a campaign - Made To Move. Its mission was to get 250,000 people moving.
The spearhead of the campaign was the Made To Move app. The app tracked your steps and if you did more than 5,000 steps in a day, you were entered into a daily prize draw to win prizes such as PureGym memberships, free sessions at Goals and Fitbits.
If you then rack up three days of more than 5,000 steps in a week, you were put into a weekly draw for prizes like a trips to Australia, San Fransisco and Dubai. Plus other big prizes such as tickets to the British Grand Prix, the Tour de France and to watch Adele at Wembley.
The app was built in-house at Lucozade Ribena Suntory. We wrote every single word in the app plus all the supporting emails, notifications and social media posts which amounted to more than 20,000 words.
The app proved wildly successful with more than 30,000 active users by 25 June 2017.
We were also tasked with creating the on-going content for the app. This included sport science articles, training tips and healthy recipes.
We not only wrote the recipes, we also cooked and food styled them and art directed them for the photoshoot.
